Mountain bike disaster

Miles was mountain biking when he hit a rock that sent him crashing over the handlebars. He was riding on a dedicated trail when the accident occurred and was taken to hospital with a broken shoulder and injured wrist. Miles was required to pay over $4,000 in upfront costs before the hospital would begin surgery on his shoulder. He called his travel insurance provider, who helped Miles for his upfront costs along with covering the costs associated with his surgery.
