Allied Health and Medical services

Our Allied Health and Medical services are always growing, with networks of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists across Australia.

Our network of Occupational Therapists can provide assessments and prescribe aids and equipment, home modifications, and support services for a number of purposes including:

  • Helping seniors stay mobile at home
  • Pre and post-surgery assessments to reduce hospital stays
  • Safety assessments
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Workplace assessments, including workers returning from injuries
  • Tele-health capability for the above services in remote areas where possible

Both our networks of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists can also provide:

We also have a network of trades providers, with over 500 providers available nationally. Categories include:

In-house services

We provide a range of in-house services including:

  • cleaning

We have the ability to expand our in-house services to meet your specific needs.

Aids and equipment

We are brand agnostic, which allows us to focus on the most appropriate product for the customer. Our supply network includes over 80 wholesale partners and approximately 200 retail partners.

Medical Network

With over 30 years’ experience in medical networks, we continue to provide support from our Brisbane based Medical Operations Team. Our team of 35 is comprised of Registered Nurses providing medical advice and direction and Medical Specialists who provide critical care medicine. We are available 24/7 via phone, with 80% of calls answered within 20 seconds.

Dr. Geoff Ramin, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Geoff Ramin is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, Consultant Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at the Intensive Care Unit at The Tweed Hospital and Director at MSS Strategic Medical and Rescue.  He joined Allianz Partners in 2014 as Chief Medical Officer APAC Region and offers over 25 years’ experience in travel and emergency medicine. His main medical interests include aero-medical retrieval, critical care, and travel and wilderness medicine.

Andrew Wareham, Regional Head of Medical Operations

Andrew Wareham is Allianz Partners’ Regional Head of Medical Operations and joined Allianz Partners in 2010. Andrew oversees 35 team members including Doctors, Nurses, Case Managers and other specialist support staff.

He has expert understanding of Medical Networks and Case Management within our medical operations.

Telehealth

Doctors on Demand allows customers to speak to a qualified Australian doctor 24/7 via phone or video call. Plus, they can also benefit from the following:

  • 24/7 video and phone consults from a phone, tablet or laptop
  • See a doctor without leaving home
  • Qualified Australian-based doctors
  • Repeat prescriptions and select medications delivered to home
  • Private medical advice for a range of health concerns
  • Get a referral for investigative tests, specialists and medical certificates
