Allianz Worldwide Partners extends long-standing partnership with multi-award winning travel agency, Webjet

International provider of assistance services, Allianz Worldwide Partners (AWP), has extended their long-standing partnership with multi-award winning online travel agency, Webjet, for a further three years.

As part of the continuing partnership, customers will have the option to select travel insurance products at the point of purchasing flights or other travel activities. Policy options are tailored to suit each traveller’s itinerary, and the recommended policy is provided as an option for purchase. By offering a customised recommendation, Webjet and Allianz Worldwide Partners hopes to make it easy for users to choose the right level of cover for their trip.

An alternative option available to customers is to select cover via Webjet’s standalone travel insurance site. Customers can browse the policies available at their leisure and then select the cover that meets their specific needs. In addition, customers who purchase comprehensive or multi-trip policies on the standalone site will have access to a pre-existing medical online screening tool. Here, they can enter any pre-existing medical conditions to confirm whether cover is provided at no cost or if they will need to purchase cover for an additional premium, if available.

Brad Smith, Chief Sales Officer, Allianz Worldwide Partners says, “We’ve been partners with Webjet for over a decade now and are delighted to continue our relationship over the next three years. At AWP, we’re committed to providing innovative solutions for our partners and are pleased to offer Webjet customers with a wide range of products that will best assist them with their travel needs.”

Commenting on the partnership, David Galt, Country Manager at Webjet says, “Allianz Worldwide Partners are a market leader in both integrated and standalone products. We’re pleased to continue to offer Webjet customers AWP’s expertise in this area and hope to provide travellers with a convenient and hassle-free way to select the right level of cover.”
